Sargasso & Hurricane Season Notes
Sargasso Season: May–August (peak June–August)
• Sargasso barrier installed in 2026 giving guests access to our secluded beachfront, helping reduce the amount of sargasso that makes landfall
• Beach is cleaned almost daily for any sargasso that makes it past the barrier
• Nearby public beach in the town center also has a sargasso barrier and daily cleaning
• Recommended beach clubs: Día y Noche, Ojo de Agua, Don’s Beach Club

Hurricane Season: May–November (peak Aug–Oct)
• No hurricanes have made landfall here in over 10 years
• Standard cancellation policies apply

Construction & Noise Notice
Major construction is complete. Occasional maintenance may occur within the complex.
Villa Coral Blanco is next to the Puerto Morelos port—guests may see or hear light daytime activity, often enjoyed as a unique part of the local coastal atmosphere and commerce.

Pets: We do allow one small dog up to 20 pounds for an additional fee of $100USD. Pets must be on a leash at all times in the common areas and not allowed to do "their business" anywhere on the property. Pets are not allowed on any of the furnishings. Please walk your pet to go to the bathroom, and pick up and dispose of any pet waste. If your pet goes to the bathroom inside the unit or on the balcony, or is on any of the furnishings there will be an additional cleaning fee of $250.00USD.
