„We rented the house for a brother’s weekend getaway. Steve was very accessible re: communication (access codes, how to use amenities on property, etc). The location is excellent, the property is well-maintained & well-stocked…kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, plenty of bedding, even fire starters & seasoned firewood for the outdoor fire pit are on-site. Very nice experience!“

„The location was quiet and there’s a spacious area for hanging out and playing games. Plenty of sleeping space! Our dogs loved the fenced in area too. A few trails around the area, easy to get to by car. Would love to visit in warmer season. Only downside was the stairs leading to the rooms, pretty steep so may be unsafe for some pets. Also sleeps 10 but only one shower. The hot water never ran out though! Overall a great experience and very responsive hosts. “

„We rented this home for a little family excursion while my son and daughter in law visited from Idaho. It is a beautiful place. We did not get to use the river or fire pit due to rain but it was beautiful there. The only thing I would have changed would have been the seating in the game room when stairs. There was not enough room for an of us to sit and play. Other than that we all had a wonderful time. “

„Very cute cabin close to Sparta. Location was great. Despite other reviews my GPS found this place with no problem. Aside from low stock of paper goods (which really wasn't an issue as we got more in town) it was great. Yes floors are creaky. It’s an old house. It is part of the charm. Will definitely stay here again. “

„We had a great stay at this property in Draper during our family spring break trip, which also included a tour of Virginia Tech. The location was perfect—less than an hour drive to campus. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was a great base for both exploring the area and spending quality time together as a family. And the dogs absolutely loved the yard! Overall, a very positive experience—we’d definitely stay here again!“

Amazing views from every part of the home. The wrap around porch was the perfect way to start our morning with coffee and a sunrise and end with a sunset. The hot tub was an added bonus! We can’t wait to stay here again. “

„This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees. The property manager was excellent and helped turn on the fireplace, which was my favorite feature since we were ...

„Beautiful cabin near river. Very backwoods. Recommend truck because road is mostly gravel for a couple of miles. No cell service outside of cabin. Food, gas, and supplies several miles away (at least 15-20 mins). Grill had missing air vent on bottom causing sparks to come out a lot. Owner is super responsive! Jetted tub is nice. “
