„Stayed 3 weeks. It was wonderful. Especially liked the trails for hiking with our dog. It was close to Rochester and Stewartville had a nice grocery called Fareway. Also had a good place for pizza called 2 Brothers. My son liked the proximity to Anytime Fitness too.“

„We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay.“

„Our group of six adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jill and Jim's home. They thought of everything you would possibly need, especially in the large kitchen. The house was immaculate and the beds were comfortable. We loved being so close to downtown and the trails. The lounging spaces inside and out are very comfortable. „We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Root River Retreat and would stay here again! Easy check-in and check-out process. The space was clean, cozy and contained everything we needed for a short stay to enjoy golf and biking. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. Towels and bedding were soft and new. Host was a gem, providing bike storage and parking space. She answered our questions very quickly and provided delicious cookies to enjoy upon our arrival. „We used this house as a base for biking the Root River Trail. The pictures don't do justice to the inside of this house, it is really upscale. Everything was cleaned, well stocked and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be recommending this property to our friends. Most enjoyable time was watching the storm come in while sitting on the porch.“
