„Seriously unimpressed by the lack of help and assistance from the host to cancel, with nearly a weeks notice prior to our intended stay. We also found that some of the information provided on the property listing at the time of booking to be somewhat questionable, suggesting a cabin size of 215 sq ft and containing a bathroom, which we now understand relates to facilities in a separate building on the property. We will not be booking again.“

„It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning.“

„Die Stufen knarzen und die Türstöcke sind niedrig. Fehlt eigentlich nur noch ein eigener Hausgeist und man fühlt sich heimelig im guten alten Wales. Das Hotel ist herzig und sehr ruhig am Land gelegen. Viel los ist nicht in dem Dörfchen, aber wir haben das Dragon Hotel auch als Ausgangspunkt diverser Exkursionen und Ausflüge ins Umland gewählt und nicht wegen dem glücklicherweise nicht vorhandenem "pulsierenden Nightlife" Die Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich und nett - alles in allem ist ...

„Light, airy and spacious appartment. In great location for exploring the Shropshire Hills. The Duckhouse was a welcoming and comfortable place to go back to relaxe after a day walking.“

„No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. “

„What I didn't like was the Noise from the traffic over the night, other wise was pleased with the large room, clean and comfortable. Parking area OK but very dusty. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.“

„The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early ...

„The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down.
