„Clean rooms, perfect host. Dominic welcomed us warmly and cooked for us in the evening. We had good conversations and felt very comfortable. If it weren't so far, we would come back. The environment is a dream. We were able to get good insights. We were able to learn a lot about the Mayas. We looked directly at the Maya ruins from the accommodation. The farm is even better in reality than in the photos on the Internet.“

„When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. “

„I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.“

„This is a great location, very peaceful. Nice to have a restaurant on site. They were very accommodating given that we had early morning tours. They fed us a tad earlier than they typically open. They were very helpful with everything. The location is uphill from town so we would walk down and take a $5 cab ride back up after dinner. The food at the restaurant was good. Lots of breakfast options. “

„Die Loge ist wunderschön in Natur gelegen und hat sogar ein eigenes Wanderpfad. Da wir Mietwagen hatten, war für uns die Lage kein Problem. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmer gemietet, alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, obwohl schon bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück wurde durch einheimischen Paar vorbereitet, super lecker und für fairen Preis. Das Personal auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.“

The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future! “
