„This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.“

The house is beautiful and always spotless, and the kitchen is a pleasure to use. I would highly recommend. We rent houses in the Rhinebeck area several times throughout the year and this house is always our first choice.“

„We wanted a place on a lake in the early fall and this did not disappoint. We kayaked (nice newer kayaks), built fires, napped and read; very isolated. The house was clean and had good kitchen supply including wine opener, knives and extras like dw detergent, paper towels, salt and pepper etc. I recommend for an easy drivable getaway from multiple east coast cities. Warning: the house next door shares the lakefront. Luckily no one was renting while we were there but you should be aware.“

„Overall, it seemed like the property manager was not ready for guests. The toilet instantly broke, the pool hadn’t been cleaned in probably weeks, and the apartment had stained sheets. It’s a nice place but really not worth the money.“
