Location was excellent. Property was clean. The host took a long time to communicate and that was frustrating. There was not enough toilet paper for a group of 7. The stairs to the second level were shaky in some spots. The bedrooms need mirrors. On the whole it was a good spot for a large group.

The apt was clean, and the host was very responsive. It was a little confusing to access the building trying to open the lock to get the key, but door was already unlocked. Also, the hall is dark especially when the halls lights time out. Have your phone light ready. If you have heavy luggage, just know you have to carry it up a couple flights as there isn’t a lift. Overall, those are minor details we got used to. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.

Lovely Duplex Apartment

Although it's up three floors, the top floor duplex apartment was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Plenty of space for us all, and everything was in great shape.

Really nice place good for eight people Very close to the city centre really nice that it was on the top floor But there were construction noises that we were familiar with before we got there.

This is a fabulous 4 bedroom duplex apartment with a fantastic location. The only drawback is it is a 4 story walk-up. We all enjoyed our stay.

The location was easy to find. Very comfortable for 8 people (4 couples). Every couple had own room to enjoy! Walking distance to everything! Highly recommended!

The property was very clean and the location was excellent! All of us slept well on what seemed to be fairly new mattresses. The property owner was very responsive to questions via VRBO message. Check in was also very easy. There was also shampoo and conditioner and hand soap in the bathroom, which was a nice touch that is not always the case in VRBO rentals. I would stay here again.Note that the apartment is on the top floor of a building with no elevator. We knew that ahead of time and it wasn't a problem for us, but I thought I'd mention it to help future travelers plan.Also, this would apply to any rental in Porto, but there is some street noise because it's a city-center location. It didn't bother us, but I thought I'd mention it for future travelers.

Wonderful Place to Call Home in Porto

We felt very at home in this apartment while staying in Porto. The central location was very convenient for all of our adventures. Loved the apartment and neighborhood! Our host was friendly, and helpful. He communicated well and always got back to me quickly on any questions I had. The apartment was decorated beautifully, had nice amenities and was very clean!

Really an amazing location and wonderful place… the only issue we had was it was unusually hot during the time in Porto … there is no air conditioning or fans and we could not sleep! But the place, location, and our host Petronella were all amazing!

The property is in an excellent location, right in the city center. The apartment was clean and spacious, providing plenty of room for our group of four adults and two children. The check-in process was stressful. There is only one set of keys: one for the building and one for the apartment. A building key is supposed to remain in a lockbox outside at all times, but when we returned to the apartment, the key was missing, leaving us unable to enter the building. If members of your group plan to go out separately or return at different times, the key arrangement can be very inconvenient. Another drawback is that there is no air conditioning. On warm days, you can open the windows, but sleeping can be difficult because of the noise. During the day, there was construction with heavy machinery nearby, and at night, the bars and nightclubs directly below the apartment were very loud. Finally, there is no elevator. If you are traveling with heavy luggage, be prepared to carry it up the stairs.
