The apartment is in a good location between historic Porto sites to the north and the river district to the south. It is easy to walk across the bridge to the wine cellars in Villa Nova de Gaia and/or to see Porto from across the river m, and the street is nice and lively with lots of shops and restaurants. It’s closed to the cars, so be prepared to walk a block or two with luggage if you arrive by car.
Check -in process and how to get to the apartment was explained well, but read the instructions carefully. You will receive a link to your client page with all the info by email. There is a lock box by the door to get the keys, so we didn’t meet the host.
The apartment was very clean and modern with a small fridge, AC in the bedrooms, and electric black out blinds. . There is no terrace or balcony and no washing machine, but these weren’t advertised.
There is a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. The latter worked well and was a decent size for 3 people with luggage.
Second bedroom has no windows to the outside.
The kitchen had an espresso machine, dishes and utensils, some pots and pants, a tea cattle. We didn’t cook, but it seemed to have all basic necessities.
We enjoyed our stay with no complaints!
