The Neighborhood:

One of Portland’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods, Alberta Arts is bursting with color, culture, and creativity. Murals line the streets, and nearly every block is home to an art gallery, boutique, coffee shop, or food destination.



Walk to Salt & Straw for inventive ice cream flavors, grab brunch at Tin Shed Garden Cafe, or enjoy local beers at Great Notion. Last Thursday art events bring music, food and local vendors to the neighborhood; outdoor street events run in June, July and August, so check the current calendar when planning your visit. Alberta Park is nearby for green space and a relaxing stroll.



With downtown and the airport reachable by car, you're tucked into one of Portland's most beloved residential pockets. Allow for traffic when planning your trip.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — You're a block from NE Alberta Street in the Alberta Arts District, with cafes, restaurants, galleries, and shops within an easy walk. Alberta Park is nearby.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Line 72 (Killingsworth/82nd Ave) runs on nearby NE Killingsworth St, with connections across the city. Check trimet.org for the best route downtown.



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share serves the area. Portland's bike lanes make cycling a great option for exploring nearby neighborhoods.



🚗 Driving — Free street parking is subject to posted signs and available spaces. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup times vary.



✈️ Airport — PDX is reachable by car; allow for traffic.



Other Things to Note:

Each townhome in the building has an adjacent, separate mother-in-law suite on the opposite side of the building, ground floor level. That space has a locked door and may be occupied by another guest during your stay unless you separately book the adjoining suite.



• If you’d like full access to all 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and both entrances, please inquire about separately booking the adjoining suite, subject to availability.



• There are 3 exterior steps at the entrance, and this is a multi-level home with stairs between each floor. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges.



• The ground-level bedroom does not have an en-suite or adjacent bathroom, and guests using this bedroom must access a bathroom located on the third level (two flights up).



Street and neighboring-suite noise can be audible. Main living-area windows have no curtains or blinds.



🐾 Pet-Friendly Space

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team cleans between stays, though we can't guarantee a dander-free home for allergy-sensitive guests

10 PM - 7 AM (house rules)



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
