Looking for a Gulf Front beach getaway with breathtaking views and an ocean as far as the eye can see? Then Cape Daze is the perfect beach destination for you! In the mornings, enjoy a peaceful and beautiful sunrise over the bay from the front porch, and in the evenings become captivated with a breathtaking sunset on the back porch, facing the ocean.

Cape Daze has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and sleeps 9 people.

The King suite is located on the top floor, facing the Gulf, with its own private balcony. In this room enjoy your own private bath. Also on this floor is a queen room with beautiful bay views with a private bathroom.

The third bedroom is another queen room right off of the kitchen with a bathroom.

On the bottom floor is the bunk room with a full on bottom and a twin on top.

The main floor is the heart of the home, with a fully stocked kitchen that overlooks the bay, a dining area for the whole family and the living room that opens right into your front deck onto the beach.

**Please note, this home rents from Saturday to Saturday, however please contact for different accommodations. This home is pet friendly, $150 per pet up to 2 dogs, and not cats.**

Very clean and plenty of room.The time of year we went, there was plenty of room on the beach, and no waiting at the restaurants (we did go at 5:30 though)Great view of sunrise over the bay, and sunsets over the gulfGood parking at the houseNice table to eat outsideReasonable price compared to others close byCons:The view was a bit obstructed, just due to the dunes and other houses, but I think it was accurately displayed on the photos.Higher deck chairs would be a great addition to the property. The lower chairs are comfortable, but you have to look through the railAccess to the beach was a bit of a challenge as it was a pretty steep trip to the beach. Be prepared for a workoutFood:There were plenty of good places to eat in Port St. Joe. Sisters (the filet); Provisions (Snapper); and White Marline (tuna or the special) were our favorites. Uptown has a real fire grill, so I would highly recommend that as well. The grilled Mahi sandwich was very good. BTW: Scallops General Store has GREAT pizza and it is only one minute down the road.Conclusion: I would be happy to stay there again, but would probably look into different properties due to the view and access.

Inaccurate Listing

Our family stayed at this property and experienced numerous issues, which we reported to the host but never received a response. VRBO later issued a 300 refund to cover damaged clothing. 1.Cleanliness: We found cockroach and mice droppings in the bottom bedroom and utility closet, raising concerns about pest control.2.Furniture Safety: The bunk bed was broken on arrival. We had to splint it ourselves to make it safe.3.Bedding: None of the beds had mattress pads, and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable, especially the king bed with a large hump in the middle.4.General Cleanliness: Vents and fans were covered in thick dust. Mold and mildew were present in sinks and showers.5.Safety: The utility closet door couldn’t be secured. We used a ratchet strap and parked a car in front for peace of mind as our young daughters slept nearby.6.Inaccurate Listing: The listing showed direct beach access, but it was unusable due to erosion. We had to walk far to find safe access, difficult for our elderly parents and young kids.7.Worn Furniture: The living room furniture was worn to the point of discomfort. A closet door was broken and leaning inside the closet.8.Water Pressure: Water pressure was so low the washer, dishwasher, and showers were barely usable. We returned home with dirty laundry and ripped clothing from the washing machine running without water. These issues made for a stressful stay.

This beach house far exceeded my expectations. They are not lying when they say the views are beautiful. Everything was there that we needed to enjoy ourselves and cook our meals in the house. There was plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. An added bonus was being able to bring my fur babies. They enjoyed the beach so much.

Beach Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home provided plenty of room for all and was just as described. The location was perfect with the ocean on one side with perfect sunset views and the bay on the other to watch the sunrise. This was our first time visiting CSB and we are already making plans to return.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Wonderful stay

We’ve stayed in this home three years in a row. Our family of six loves the location and how this part of the beach is especially quiet. Being able to bring our dog to the beach is extra special! The stars on a clear night are absolutely mind blowing due to such a dark beach at night. You can actually see the Milky Way! Whenever our favorite things is to have a fire on the beach at night, roast marshmallows, and watch the stars! If you’re lucky, you’ll see the bioilluminesence in the water as well!
