„This was the perfect place for my family to use as a home base while we were staying in Port Elgin. The home was spotless, and had absolutely everything we needed - lots of towels and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable! The amenities on the property were great! „The place is really nice, great for large family gatherings, great location and nice layout. The communication with the property manager was challenging. From check-in that was clunky and after checkout they waited two weeks to return my deposit saying there was damage but not communicating what was damaged. Ultimately my the deposit was return, because there was no damage. I would encourage folks to take pictures upon leaving to ensure no damage is reported that was not your responsibility.“

„Second time staying here. My junior room was perfect for a solo stay. There is an area in the middle of the rooms for sitting under trees in colorful Adirondack chairs circled around a fire place. Everything I needed was there at Drifthaus. It also was esthetically pleasing. It worked well for my little dog. We could be at the beach in minutes. Walking distance. Jeff, the host, was quick to reply to my questions. Summary: I'd love to live here“

„We had a wonderful family thanksgiving at the cottage. The place was very well equipped - nothing was missing. The cottage itself is “beach chic”, spacious and very comfortable.
