„A well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there.“

„Check- in was super easy and just as described by the host. The house was very clean and comfy! The kitchen was great, with everything we needed; appreciated the coffee pods and accoutrements. Some of us enjoyed some quiet conversation on the dock in the early evening while others put together puzzles on the coffee table.“

„We had an amazing stay at the “Library at the Lake”. The front porch is spectacular and was out hangout place most evenings! Very quiet with a lovely breeze. The host is very timely with all communications and a pleasure to work with.House has ample parking and is within easy walking distance of the lake, Jet Express, restaurants and entertainment. Very easy travel time to Catawba and Marblehead as well.I highly recommend this property for your Port Clinton adventure.“

„The property was perfect for our 3-night trip to Port Clinton!! The space itself was cozy and comfortable for 2 people. It was very well kept with nice amenities, in an easy, walkable neighborhood. Lee gave us a thorough list of recommendations for dining and activities, and we enjoyed everything we got to try. It was a great trip, I couldn’t ask for anything better!“

„Beautifully renovated home in a quiet neighborhood right next to the lake and a nice park. Plenty of clean beds and spots to relax with family. Kitchen was fully stocked with appropriate utensils and extra surprises. We enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be looking to stay here again when we come back to the area.“

„The house was very nice. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was a nice size and Daryl left us snacks to enjoy. We loved the porch and the hot tub. Everything we needed to cook was available. We didn't have to buy any of the essentials needed. Would definitely stay here again. “

„We enjoyed the location and the overall setup of the property, but unfortunately, the overpowering plugins and strong fragrances made our stay uncomfortable and even caused headaches. In addition, the kitchen cabinets had a musty odor that detracted from the experience. Another thing to note is that trains pass by very frequently, which can be disruptive, especially at night. With some improvements—such as reducing artificial scents, addressing the mustiness, and letting guests know about the ...

„It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.“
