„There are two chalets, we stayed in Chalet 2 which has a bbq and sitting area looking onto a pretty garden. Inside is very spacious, and exceptionally clean. Good kitchen, comfy beds/linen, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of storage space. The lounge looked out onto our large fenced dog exercise area (each chalet had one). Dogs allowed inside but not on furniture or bedrooms. Main area has easy to clean floors. Beautiful walks nearby. Highly rated, we loved our stay as did our dog.“

„Perfect place to base yourself for hiking in the Porongorups and Stirling Ranges. At the end of the day you can soak your weary bones in the spa and be watched over by the inquisitive cows. Great place to stay would highly recommend - just be aware wifi is limited.“

„The Grange on Calgan Farm is placed on beautiful grounds with views over the Kalgan River. It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog.
