Only issue was the coffee maker did not have the pot to go with it. I had to put my cup under the spout and push up against the coffee maker nozzle with my fingers to coax the hot coffee to come out! HOT coffee which my fingers didn’t enjoy.“

The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. „This place is gorgeous. It’s a mid century hotel with rustic touches. Very inviting, very relaxing. Takes you back to calmer easier times. Huge great room with lots of windows, a fireplace and a bar. Large deck has rocking chairs, a fire pit and quite the view, it overlooks 5 states. „Die meisten Motels in den USA sind ja schon relativ in die Jahre gekommen und daher mehr oder weniger abgewohnt. Nicht so das Red Ranch Motel, es ist tipptopp in Ordnung und der Wohlfühlfaktor sehr hoch. Das Motel eignet sich aufgrund seiner Lage sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Catskills und das Hudson Valley. Nebenan in der Rip van Winkle Brewing Co. kann man sehr gut speisen (und trinken) ;-)“
