„Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay!“

„We loved our stay at the Half Shell. The views were amazing, the widelife (birds) abundant, and the peace and serenity exactly what we were looking for. Having pictures of the kitchenette in the listing would have been helpful. It was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't cook, it had everything we would have needed to make a small meal. Everything went smoothly and we look forward to staying at this location again really soon. “

„My first vrbo, host was accommodating, had a last minute change and was no problem, very clean, you do have to use the main house for bath facilities but easy acess, 2 minor things, there is only one out let for the refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig had to get down and plug in microwave to use, and small night table on both sides of the bed, other than that great time easy to get to, thanks John“

„The best part of the unit was the kitchen, dining room, living room. Lots of room, big table, and plentiful dishes and utensils The bedrooms were cramped, no place for clothes, small windows. It would be good to have a better idea of the surroundings ahead of time, at least the building number. “

„Cant beat the easy beach access 😁“

„The house is older, as is the furniture. Unfortunately, the queen bed was very uncomfortable as another reviewer had previously noted, but I let the owners know and they said they would make sure to switch it out. Our group was staying 2 nights and we felt like this was a reason for why it maybe wasnt stocked very well. However, when I contacted the host, they did bring several items very quickly to try and make our stay better, and we appreciated the effort.“

„Beautiful, scenic and peaceful location. We enjoyed our time on the deck, soaking in some sun, chatting with the neighbor and watching the goslings and wild bunnies. Only on suggestion would be to secure the top if the handrail and maybe add a short length at the bottom landing. We would love for a longer return stayCheers“
