The Space:

Vista Serena is a sunny and relaxing retreat with beautiful sea and range views. The home has open-plan living, a large deck, a well-equipped kitchen, Smart TV, heat pump, and fast WiFi. There are two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, plus a comfortable bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. It is ideal for a peaceful Golden Bay getaway.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire main house, deck, and outdoor BBQ area. On-site parking is available.. Self check-in is via lockbox. Check-in instructions will be provided before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Located just 4 minutes from Pōhara Beach, you’re close to local cafés, the general store, and the Pōhara Boat Club. This is a peaceful, elevated spot that feels private yet still connected to everything Golden Bay has to offer.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended to explore the area. Just 10 minutes to Tākaka, and within easy reach of beaches, bush walks, and local attractions.



Other Things to Note:

Linen and bath towels are included in the reservation. A basic starter pack of tea, coffee, and toiletries is provided. For longer stays, you may need to top up. The house is self-catering.



We kindly ask guests to clean the BBQ after use and leave sandy shoes outside. This is a much-loved home, and the owner lives nearby, so the property is well cared for and support is close at hand if needed. Guests will still have their own private and peaceful stay, but we ask that the home, neighbours, and surrounding area are treated with care and respect.



Parties, events, large gatherings, and additional overnight guests are not permitted. Please keep noise to a considerate level at all times.



Check-in instructions will be provided before arrival. This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted outside, away from open doors and windows.
