"We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. "We found our stay to be mixed. First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks...
