„After we stayed in Ibis hotel Quito in December we came back for another 3 nights in January as we liked the hotel a lot. This time we payed in advance with Expedia so we did not need to pay any taxes at the hotel. When we stayed there in December however there were some extra costs at the hotel for the VAT which tourists normally do not have to pay.“
