„I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!“

„This stay was excellent. The property was as advertised. Clean , modern, and comfortable. There are enough in the way of restaurants, and markets near by. Tamarindo is about 35 mins away. Playa Avellanas is a 5min drive, great place to relax. I would not hesitate to use again. The only downsside was the condition of the road for the last few miles to the development. I assume that will improve as the area continues to development. “

„We really liked our stay here. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Very large place, full kitchen, was super big for the two of us. Could definitely fit two couples or a family easily. Pool was nice too. Close to the beach and some great eating spots. Close to drive to excursions and Tamarindo.“

„The property was a 5 - 10 min drive to Avellanas Beach that is beautiful plus enjoyed eating at Lola’s located right on the beach. The house was well equipped with a modern kitchen, all the amenities, including coffee, spices oils, etc. facilitating meal preparation. The rooms were very nice as were the seating areas outside. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings and pretty much had it to ourselves. We had other friends staying at a more expensive property who were disappointed to find light ...

„Beautiful forest setting surrounds a Costa Rican architectural gem. Beautiful fusion of local hardwood winding stairs, floors and doors/trim with traditional concrete/stucco walls, concrete downstairs/patio and bathroom floors with concrete counters and kitchen island.Bedrooms with ac and openable windows; lots of glass.Patio great in mornings and evenings to enjoy nature.“

„We spend two weeks in this great cottage and had a wonderful time. Exactly like described: three bedrooms, three baths, a kitchen, air conditioning, spacious with a rustic charm. Beautiful art pieces hang from the walls and ceilings. Great for families, surrounded by trees and animals. Very close to the beach so that we would walk every morning to enjoy the waves. "Alles in allem ein Gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis und eine sehr gute Speisenauswahl. Vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass Essengehen in Costa Rica nicht sehr günstig ist. Der Strand am Hotel sieht toll aus, ist aber zum Baden nicht geeignet, nur für mutige Surfer. Zum schonen Strand kann man spazieren in 20 bis 30 Minuten oder man schnappt sich ein uber fur 3-4 dollar"
