“Judy” is one of our most luxurious properties in the “Ladies on Shady” village! She is an elegant inviting 3-story Victorian located in the heart of the desirable East End section of the historic bustling Shadyside neighborhood. This is one of our primary homes which we share with guests for a limited time each year. You’ll have a rare chance to be a guest in a beautiful Victorian built in the 1800s, with complete modern and luxury amenities.
The space
This 3,000 square foot Victorian house towers three stories and is delightfully furnished throughout with a newly renovated state-of-the-art kitchen. Judy exemplifies old world character and charm but also includes modern amenities and decor that you might expect to find in a boutique hotel. She is perfectly situated for exploring everything that vibrant and quaint yet increasingly cosmopolitan Shadyside has to offer.

The first floor has been updated to an open architecture with rooms separated by urban industrialism rather than sliding pocket doors. The first floor has a large living room, beautifully furnished with eclectic furniture and interesting art. The dining room has speakeasy-inspired details but what stands out is a grand, handmade custom live-edge wood dining room table with matching sideboards and super comfortable chairs. The Restoration Hardware Maxwell Ultra Luxe depth leather couches absorb you and provide incredible comfort.

We remodeled the kitchen and dining area which is one of our favorite areas in the house. It feels like an indoor/outdoor space with large windows looking onto the backyard. This room has natural light throughout the day and overlooks a beautiful dogwood. We are big cooks. Our gourmet kitchen has a five-burner stove with griddle, a large fridge, and is fully stocked with pots, pans, a slow cooker, and an Instant Pot. There is a small deck, right off the family room, with outdoor chairs and a comfy area which is great for reading and daydreaming.

This iconic and renovated Victorian home with a 50 foot frontage is one of Shadyside’s grand showplaces. State-of-the-art kitchen, four bedrooms, three and one half-bathrooms, a fully equipped home offices w/ strong wifi, whirlpool tub, laundry room, gate, Nest security & private parking.

Our 4 bedroom 3 full bath home is large enough to host the entire family for an amazing seasonal extended stay getaway, several couples for a romantic week of art, fine dining and culture or a group of close friends for a bridal adventure filled weekend. The home is splendidly decorated in a French provisional style that will have you feeling like you stepped into the french countryside where the home owner grew up! Shadyside’s rich history, diverse architecture, and walk-ability further add to that European feel. Mornings can be spent sipping coffee on the large beautiful front porch interacting with neighbors or finding serenity in the secluded rear garden.

You will have the entire house to yourself. The only area that is not accessible to guests is the basement.
Other things to note
This is one of our primary homes which we rent out for a limited time each year and therefore some of our personal belongings will be at the home. We provide ample drawer and closet space for guests so you can make yourself at home.
