„Stayed here with my parents and it served us well as home base for a few days of fly fishing and sightseeing. Great location with river, stream, and lake fishing options within a short drive. Historic St Elmo is just up the road, and the meadow for wildlife viewing across the road from the cabin is a nice bonus. We spent time there several evenings and saw deer nearly every day, a coyote, and about a dozen bighorn sheep.“

„Cozy property minutes to Mt Princeton hot springs. We spent the weekend with family and had a great time. The house was fully stocked for cooking meals and the house has the perfect mountain home feel. One very minor thing is the basement was very cold. It took a day for the space heaters to warm up the place and it was fine after this. Overall we loved it! “

„Our stay was an excellent experience for the entire family! This house has everything we needed to enjoy the Colorado Mountains including the fishing pond with lots of fish. The location is great for the nearby hot springs, rafting and towns of Salida and Buena Vista. The beds were comfortable and the back deck was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the stars after dark. If you are looking for a great place for your family to relax and un plug, this is the place to go to.“

„This was our second time staying here and it was just a good and the first time. The location and coziness of the house is perfect. It could use a good deep cleaning but it wasn’t anything terrible. Mainly just noticed the cleanliness of the floors. Will be back again hopefully sooner than later!“

„This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time.“
