„My husband and I enjoyed our stay, but our 8 month old lab LOVED it! We enjoyed the horses coming by for a carrot now and then. The cabin was nice and I especially appreciated the bed and linens. Kitchen was as advertised and the hot tub was great!It’s in a great area for hiking which we did even though it rained a good bit while we were there.“

„Nice secluded cabin in the woods but close the New River Gorge National Park. Cabin is well kept and has pretty much everything you would need. Cabin is pet friendly and has a bit on a grassy area for them. Owners are great host and respond to messages quickly.“

„We had a great experience during our week long stay at the Fern Creek Cabin. The cabin was ready and waiting when we arrived. It was very clean and was represented well in the listing and stocked with everything needed. We enjoyed the large hot tub almost every evening. The remote location and large property provided complete peace and quiet. We were visited by whippoorwills on several evenings singing from the vine covered archway at the front door. We saw deer and or turkey almost every day on ...

„The house was great. Perfect for what we needed. Our dog loved the backyard. It was so convenient to downtown and all the good restaurants.“

„The house was great and located within a friendly community and near local shops and eatery. The house smelled great and looked amazing. The door code didn’t work as described in check in process, but I was able to get in contact with the property manager and got it worked out within 5 minutes of arrival. “

„The property is very conveniently located to hiking trails. Parking is a bit difficult if you have a large car. I had to back out of the driveway when there was another car parked on the property. Overall, the property was clean, but the carpet is overdue for replacement, due to age and stains.. I did get a nail in my heel from the transition piece between the dining room and the kitchen. That needs attention.“

„Warm and cozy with space away from neighbors. The check-in and out was super easy. The host was contacted and answered back very quickly. The snacks in the baskets were a wonderful touch. It was just the right size with comfortable rooms. The location was not far from all the places including New River Gorge National Park. It was a nice place to come home to after a long day of hiking. “

„My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during spring break. Everything was clean and in great condition, and the host clearly went the extra mile to provide finishing touches. The towels were extra large and plush, the coffee area had multiple options, there were extra condiments in the fridge, and each bedroom has its own tv (the kids were thrilled about this!). „Very welcoming when you stepped into the house. Thoughtful arrangements (we love the game room, and those information flyers and maps under the TV). The house is beside Route 19 but in a quiet neighborhood. You can walk to the New Gorge River bridge (i.e., on Bridge Day) or you can drive for 5 mins. Very close to multiple restaurants and a gas station. Short drive to Long Point trailhead as well. Overall, very satisfied with our stay and highly recommended.“
