„Check in was quick and easy. Dinner was good. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked. Staff was very friendly. We were stayed just for one night. Was really bonus that we were allowed to.leave our car in hotel car park until before 2 pm after we checked out, so we can hikes to Stickle Tarn. Great location definitely recomended.“

„Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.“

„Lovely coay B&B. Decor is modern but in theme with the lake district. Lots of little home comforts included. The owners are very friendly and cant do enough for you. Breakfast was very good and all cooked to order with a hige range to choose from. Rooms are lovely and its in a great location. free parking too which is a big plus point.“

„Beautiful scenic location. Hotel condition and all furnishing as new. Room extremely comfortable. Staff impeccable, not to be faulted. Food superb. Bar prices high. Lounge a bit bright…. Need table lamps rather than ceiling lights to give better ambience. Overall excellent.“

„Had a good time there. The reception team was nice, however the concierge was very reserved and had its "favourite" guests. Not a good approach for a concierge and left a bad after taste. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. You even have to pay for special coffee drinks wich as cappuccino... Also not okay for a hotel in this pirce category. Rooms were modern and nice.“

„What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking. “

„Schönes und zentral gelegenes Hotel in englischem Stil. Der Spa Bereich war super sauber und bot abwechslungsreiche arrangements. Wir hatten ein Balkon Zimmer. Nicht so schön war der Balkon/Terrasse, welche hätte einladender gestaltet werden können und staubwischen auf den Lampen ist empfehlenswert. “
