„We‘ve spent two wonderful weeks with our two year old daughter and our dog. The house is beautifully located in the hills with no direct neighbours. The view is fantastic and we felt immediately at home in this beautiful house. We had a wonderful time and our hosts were just lovely. (We cannot say anything about the pool - except that it is huge - because we were there out of season in March when the pool was closed.)“

It was very hot whilst we were there, so the air con and pool were very much appreciated! The town itself has several decent restaurants (so no need to cook, if you dont want to!) and there are some local buses but a car is needed really to make the most of the wider surrounding area (including the beautiful pool).The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful with any queries ...

„Schon als wir Marcello an unserem Anreisetag getroffen hatten, wussten wir, hier sind wir genau richtig. Die Wohnung und das drum herum waren wie für uns gemacht. Es liegt zwar total abgelegen, aber wer Erholung braucht, wird sie hier finden. Auch kann es mal vorkommen das morgens, draußen beim Frühstück ein Wildschwein vorbeischaut :) Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Apart from all the different places of touristic interest we really enjoyed staying at Vecchia Posta in Cavriglia, a quiet little town 60 km south of Florence. The former post office constitutes a lovely old house, which has been embellished on a grand scale.
