THE ENVIRONMENT

The house is in Piedralaves, a village in the Tiétar Valley in the Sierra de Gredos (Ávila): the southern face of Gredos, with a microclimate, natural pools and chestnut forests.

Within walking distance of the village: supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, tapas bars and the natural swimming pool of Pozo de la Nieve.

By car, nearby:

• Piedralaves natural pool and Nava gorge: just a stone's throw away

• Mijares, Casavieja and La Adrada, with its castle: 10-15 minutes

• Sierra de Gredos and its gorges (Chilla, Alardos): 40-60 minutes

• El Burguillo and San Juan Reservoirs: 25-40 minutes

• Ávila, the walled capital: about 55 minutes

• Madrid: around 1 hour 15 minutes

It's a mid-mountain area: chestnut trees, pines, and cold water in summer. It has a village atmosphere, bustling in August and quiet the rest of the year.

HOW TO MOVE

By car (recommended): Piedralaves is about 1 hour 15 minutes from Madrid via the A-5 and the N-403/CL-501. Street parking is readily available.

By bus: there are regular lines from Madrid (Estación Sur) to the Tiétar Valley, with a stop in the village, but with few frequencies.

To get around the area (gorges, reservoirs, villages of Gredos) a car is essential.

Supermarket, pharmacy and gas station: all in the town itself.

Madrid-Barajas Airport: around 1 hour 30 minutes.

HOUSE RULES

• Up to 4 travelers can stay overnight

• Pets allowed: 2 maximum

• No smoking: Includes vaping and electronic cigarettes

• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM

• Parties and events are not allowed

• Taking photographs for commercial purposes is not permitted: This includes filming advertisements.

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone and to keep the chalet in perfect condition, we ask that you take the following rules into account:

Check-in: from 3:00 PM

Check-out: until 11:00

/> If a late check-out has not been arranged in advance, a surcharge of €20 will be applied for each additional hour. This measure helps maintain cleanliness and organization standards for subsequent guests.

👥 Maximum capacity

The chalet can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. This limit must be respected at all times.

🚭 No smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation.

🐾 Pets

Pets are allowed (maximum 2, no more than 25 kg each), provided they do not get on the sofa or beds. A €30 penalty will be applied if this rule is violated. Pets are also strictly prohibited from using the jacuzzi.

🎉 Events and behavior

Parties and events are not allowed. Quiet hours must be respected to ensure the rest of neighbors and guests.
