„The communal swimming pool which belongs to the enclosure of weekend homes and has a playground next to it was the main attraction for my kids - two of three learned swimming there. The Location is very nice, very rural, with a nice view on Lake Garlate but you need a car and need time to get to the nice areas of Lake Como. „The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car“

The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. „Antonio was a totally lovely host. He took us for a ride yo show us where to find stores and restaurants and then gave us lots of information about hiking, which was our interest. We enjoyed a warm night’s dinner on the patio. The home was very clean and great for 2 individuals or 2 couples.“

„Sehr schönes haus in den Bergen. Die Aussicht ist echt top! Leider haben die Räume innen teilweise etwas Schimmel an den Wänden und die Straße ist die letzten 500m nicht asphaltiert und hat viele Schlaglöcher. Abgesehen davon ist es wunderbares Objekt ist super Lage!“

„My family and I really liked staying here. Difficult to find but that was car’s navigation issue. Only 15 mins from main center of Bellagio. Communication with owner was top notch and he was extremely helpful and nice. Very peaceful and quiet. Only downfall is the bath tub in field directly in front of property but that probably belongs to another property. “

„We spent a great time in this beautiful mansion in the hills of Bellagio. Giulia, our host, was extremely friendly and reacted promptly on any question we had. We had a marvelous welcome by Giulia including food and drinks. We habe been even supplied with home garden vergetables during our stay. Tne supermarket is less than 150 meters away as there is a cheese dairy. The neighbours are also very friendly.“

„The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. It should be mentioned that the streets are not paved at ...

„ist diese neue, moderne Wohnung, die man in dem alten Haus so nicht vermuten würde. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und vor allen Dingen den tollen Blick auf den See genossen. Auch der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.“
