Rennie and Hope were lovely, provided us with filtered water, coffee/tea and had an ADORABLE microwave/mini fridge set up. Mosquitoes are totally normal but also suck. We had bug repellent and there was a repellent coil on the back porch so it didnt bug us much. 10/10 will absolutely return! Thank you so so much!“

„This beautiful little property is right on the ocean and surrounded by beautiful forest. It was clean, homey, and well-stocked with kitchen supplies (not a full kitchen but enough to heat up lunch or make a little breakfast). The view of the ocean is unmatched. „Absolut einzigartige Location, gutes Bett, sauberes und großes Bad. Man ist direkt in der Natur, hört die Wellen, den Wind. Ein einziger Punkt: Man hat sehr, sehr wenig Platz zum Aufbewahren von Dingen. Es wurde an Besteck nur ein Löffel angeboten. Wenigstens ein Regal wäre hilfreich gewesen. Trotzdem lieben wir diesen einzigartigen Platz. “

Home was very well equiped - we cooked several meals without finding any missing household items. Hot tub works great...which is sometimes a rarity in rental homes. „If you like the 70s then this may be the place. I do, so I enjoyed it. Some of the things are a little rundown but if the price is right then I recommend. Great view of the ocean. Hot tub situated under the trees. Kitchen a bit lacking in supplies but sufficient. Bedrooms nice, comfortable. There was no firewood supplied so pick some up on the way or in Gualala at the market. Watch out for ticks in the yard, they are abundant.“

„Our stay was really magical. The home is outfitted with everything you could possibly need - lots of towels and kitchen accessories. Everything was very comfortable, including the beds and the sofas -we especially appreciated the blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Not as close to Mendocino as I’d hoped-around 30 minutes of winding, but gorgeous coastal road. Not much in Elk, esp during the week. Seamus is a great host who made everything easy for us.“
