Welcome to Pepin Guest Haus! Our cozy yet modern and fresh loft has beautiful views of Lake Pepin and is walking distance to everything in town. Pepin, Wisconsin is the hidden gem of the Midwest. As your hosts, we aim to share this treasure with you.

The stretch of Wisconsin Highway 35 running along Lake Pepin has been called the prettiest drive in America by the Huffington Post. American Poet, journalist, and editor of the New York Evening Post stated that “Lake Pepin ought to be visited by every poet and painter in the land.” Beyond the breathtaking views of river bluffs and Lake Pepin, and the authentically nautical environment, the town of Pepin itself boasts great food, gift shopping, boating/ice fishing, and the perfect setting to create some of your best memories.

Pepin is home to the well known, beautiful Italian winery, Villa Bellezza, from which Pepin Guest Haus is conveniently located across the street. Additionally, the town has a variety of restaurants including the famous Harbor View Cafe, iconic lakeside boat-up restaurant The Pickle Factory, and the fun-in-the-sun Garden Pub & Grille. For breakfast be sure to visit the Homemade Cafe and if you like Barbeque don't miss Smoke-In D's pop up stand - all located walking distance from Pepin Guest Haus. Pepin is also the original home of American author Laura Ingalls Wilder and has a museum dedicated to her and the early settlers of the area. Gift shops and metal art are plentiful in town as well.

Pepin itself can delight for a full weekend but if you'd like to explore the area by car or motorcycle the towns of Bay City, Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Nelson, Alma, Fountain City, Wabasha, Lake City, Frontenac, and Red Wing are all within 45 minutes or less from Pepin Guest Haus. If you enjoy wine tasting Pepin Guest Haus is a perfect home base as you embark upon the Great River Road Wine Trail!
