For our family vacation my daughter suggested Lost Key since she has there before and loved it. We selected this unit as the room configurations met our needs. Loved the golf cart as it made transporting kids/gear from beach/pool easy. However, I was disappointed in the quality/attention to details for the price paid. On arrival, access key card did not work. I was told to take it to the restaurant beachside to have it reactivated. Ironically, they were closed that day. We had to ask for bracelets that guests are supposed to have. Staff was prompt in getting them once we reached out. Inside unit, the carpet on the stairs is nasty. I read a review and sounds like they were dirty on the last visitor’s stay. The walls are dingy and many had holes. Ceiling vent by washer/dryer closet looks grungy . The dishwasher was ineffective and a part fell off. Put it back on, but it fell off again… filter on the fridge is 99 days overdue. The grill worked fine ; the grill cleaning utensils were extremely worn/dirty and were lying outside on the ground. There is screw sticking out of a bed upstairs that gouged my daughter's foot. If someone books a unit for 5 nights, I believe you should provide 5 days worth of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc. A welcome guide/folder would have been helpful to have a map of the resort and guidelines printed in one place, and maybe some local dining suggestions. It would also be helpful to have some sort of towel rack/dryer on porch.
