The children ages 9,11, and 14, We had access to the lake and water park across the street so that was a bonus! I do have a complaint about the kitchen, no paper towels, no dishcloths (the dishwasher was broken) and only 2 wine glasses! Also, there was a bit of coffee for us but you should have a Keurig coffee maker as well! We brought Keurig pods with us, and/or a bigger ...

„Love the fact it was a duplex with two kitchens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Need some TLC of minor fixes. We had a great time using this as base camp!“

„It was everything I was hoping it would be. Super clean and location was perfect. Just enough out of town to feel like a getaway but close enough for all kinds of entertainment. We enjoyed the beaches, restaurants, shopping, a nice cruise of the bay and as a bonus there was a vintage car show that was pretty nice. It was a very nostalgic visit. It reminded me of staying at my grandparents cottage as a child. Thanks so much. Definitely making plans to return.“

„Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. „We arrived to our beautiful rental greeted by a lovely card, banana bread and other treats. The directions for the property and check in were very easy to follow. The area is very peaceful and we were able to take a walk down by the lake and view the bridge. Mary Lynn communicated very well and has the home well stocked and very clean. We love the area, it’s a beautiful property and would highly recommend “

„Great location, quiet, secluded cabin only a few minutes from town and beginning of the tunnel of trees. There is a good restaurant and a gas station 2 minutes away. Stocked with many extras like games and firewood. Beds were comfy. Communication with John was quick and clear. Excellent value for the price!“

„This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. “

It read vacancy outside. Mackinaw city feels like a tourist trap. If you go offseason, don’t book ahead, go to one of the many motels."
