âI recently stayed at Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa and unfortunately the experience did not match the expectations of an adults-only resort. While the property is marketed as adults only, it shares facilities with Dreams Resort, and there were kids throughout many of the common areas. This made it feel less like a true adults-only getaway.
The service at the lobby was also disappointing. Staff often didnât know basic information such as opening and closing times for restaurants and amenities. ...

âOur experience was amazing from the moment we arrived. Brian was very helpful as we checked in and suggested we have lunch while our room was being prepared for us. To our surprise, the room was more spacious than we anticipated. The room was very clean as well as all surroundings including the pools and the grounds. There are several restaurants to choose from. âCreative colorful space very down to earth - itâs directly at the beach - in front is the small road needs to be crossed to get to the beach area, there is a small hut with drinks from the fridge and a socket if you want to work from the beach. The room had a Moskito net door so you can sleep with open windows & door and listen to the sound of the waves. Unfortunately we had the sound from the pool pump (or something similar) in the room until 10pm but afterwards & in the morning it was off. â

âVery nice resort, great food, great beach. The only problem is, do not expect a booking at an Ă la carte restaurant. The butlers they assign to you to do the bookings tell you every morning that the restaurant is not available. Most likely it's a tactic to keep restaurant bookings down.â
