We liked the residential area. Getting the key, accessing the building and the apartment was not user friendly. The photos on line look nicer than it is. Host was easily accessible. Dryer didn’t work so left with a heavy bag of very wet clothing.

This was a great central location for our visit to Paris. A short walk to a grocery store, close to the shops on Champs Elysees, and conveniently located across from a Metro station. Furniture and bedding were clean and comfortable. As mentioned in another review, the dining chairs were looking a little worn cosmetically, but they were still padded and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to cook, but we only used it for breakfast. The listing and other reviews do not make the layout clear, so for those who care about layout:One bedroom faces the street (along with the living room) and has an ensuite shower/toilet. The second bedroom is of similar size and faces out over a quiet pedestrian alley that is locked at night. The back bedroom is very quiet! This back bedroom only has a shower/sink room attached and the 2nd toilet is in a separate room right outside the bedroom. So 2 toilets and 2 showers across 3 rooms. During our visit, the street noise was not an issue. With the windows closed the noise level was what you'd expect staying in a city. It wasn't a super busy street full of traffic all night or anything. We would definitely stay in this location on a return trip to Paris!

No hot water

I just stayed in this apartment last week with my husband and 2 kids. The location was great, close to the metro and walkable to several restaurants. The accommodations were fine, overall, but didn’t exactly match the online pictures. The living room walls were spackled and the dining chairs are so worn and cracked. The bathroom sink faucets are loose. The worst part of our stay was the lack of hot water. I messaged with the host before booking (after reading other reviews that mentioned hot water issues) and he reassured me it had been taken care of. That was not true. We couldn’t get through 2 showers before the hot water ran out. The water ran cold in the bathroom sinks as well. When I messaged the host to make him aware (he was very responsive during the booking process), I received no response. Radio silence. I received an email after I completed my check-out survey mentioning my message and that it hadn’t been received until then. I don’t believe that. I was offered an apology and a 15% discount on my next stay with Pick A Flat. Too little too late in my opinion.

Lovely Paris Apartment

Our group of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed our 6 night stay at this well-appointed flat. It was great to find a place with 2 bathrooms in Paris, 2 comfortable sized bedrooms with nice beds. The layout of the apartment was great, we utilized all its amenities, the full sized kitchen, washer, dining area and living room. The only issue we faced on the first night was running out of hot water when 4 people showered at same time, we adjusted by taking shorter showers and did not incur any further issue. FYI It takes 40 mins for water heater to replenish the hot water. Additionally the building does not have a lift and apt is on 2nd floor (or 3rd floor in US) so carrying luggage up/down can be a bit tiring, but a good workout. The location is great, right across the street from metro station, groceries and food all closeby. Safe neighborhood and very quiet.

Girls trip

We went to Paris on birthday girls trip. The flat was a quick walking distance to the champs d’elysees. There are were plenty of cafes, pharmacy and boulangerie close by. The place was clean. The only problem we confronted was talking cold showers at times. The heater has to be reset. I learned it after the first night where a few of us had to shower with freezing cold water. I called the pick a flat and they walked me through it in how to reset the water heater. That was the only incident we had, otherwise it was a good flat in a quite building.

Bel appartement, bien placé, spacieux, fonctionnel et très propre. Dommage que les deux TV ne fonctionnent qu’un jour sur deux.
