The Space:

Enjoy a peaceful stay in this comfortable apartment, a stone's throw from Notre-Dame. Quiet and well appointed, it is perfect for up to five guests.



The apartment includes:

• A sleeping area: it has a queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm) with new and very comfortable bedding, as well as a single sofa bed & storage.

• A bathroom: includes a modern shower, as well as a hairdryer, soap & shampoo.

Separate toilets are also at your disposal for greater comfort.

Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels are provided for the duration of your stay.

• An open kitchen: fully equipped with oven, microwave, hotplates, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle & Nespresso machine, as well as all the utensils, pots and pans needed to prepare your meals.

• A bright and welcoming living room: the lounge area has a Smart TV (Netflix, Disney +, etc.), a double sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) and unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for relaxing or working remotely.

The space was nice and well kept. Accommodations were very comfortable. It is in the heart of a busy neighborhood, which was great. When we stayed it was quite hot, so we had the windows open. Downside to open windows is the street noise. It is located in the heart of a busy neighborhood so there was some general street noise. Then a busker would show up around 10 PM each night and play for about 30 minutes. Not much you can do about that though. Would recommend the space.

This is a great location, just across the river from Notre Dame, and a comfortable apartment. It is an easy walk to all of central Paris, and the Metro will take you further. One caution: the apartment is up three flights of narrow, twisty stairs, and there is no elevator. There is no mention of this in the description. We are 75, but still fit, or this would have been a disaster

Right in the heart of Paris!

This is the perfect place if you want to be right by amazing restaurants and only 2 mins from a metro stop. Notre Dame was a short walk away and the Lourve a bit longer walk along the river. It IS in a really happening place so there was a decent amount of noise from people at the restaurants below. So stay here if location is more important that peace and quiet. You will have crowds below you until very late at night. For us, that was 100% worth it for that amazing location.

Horrible experience

This was without a doubt, the worse rental experience I have ever had. The moment we opened the door to the place, a strong smell of dampness, grease and cigarettes hit us. The furniture had stains of grease, the upholstery on the sofa was ripped, the floor was heavily scratched and the white walls were yellowish. Many years have passed since the photos were taken and the apartment has not been well maintained. The apartment was disgustingly dirty. But most disturbing was the heavy smell that filled the air. I am allergic to cigarettes and we always choose no-smoking properties to rent (which this property was listed as); within a few minutes of being at the apartment, my sinuses were completely congested. I immediately contacted the host to let them know the condition of the apartment was unacceptable. The host eventually responded and said she was sorry and would send somebody to clean. She also said a “technician” was on his way to check about the smell. Neither ever arrived. The host stopped responding, so we contacted VRBO’s customer service. After the host was contacted by VRBO, she said they were “still waiting for a response from their team“. I communicated my health problems and asked for a working phone number, their response was “We understand your concern and the urgency. We sincerely apologize for the delay. Please know that all of your concerns have been raised and reported to our team. We will let you know as soon as we get an update regarding the refund. As for the phone number, we suggest this option of communication so please send us a message here if you have other concerns.” We refused to stay any longer. I communicated this to the host and let her know we were vacating the apartment and expected a refund. I did not hear back from the host for the rest of that day or the next 3 days. Four days later, I received a message saying they were working on the refund. After that, I was completely ghosted. I have not received my refund nor my deposit and it’s been almost 3 weeks since the host has responded to my requests for an update. The apartment's condition was considerably different from what was depicted and the host handled the situation by lying and doing absolutely nothing to fix the issues. All of this should make anyone very weary of renting anything managed by UK Home Partner / UHP Paris. It is very disappointing that VRBO lets companies like these be part of their community.
