„The Plough is fine. It is looking a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The rooms are spacious enough and the aircon works well. I stay in a lot of hotels and think the Plough is overpriced for what it offers. That’s probably why occupancy was quite low during my stay. At dinner the waitress spilled wine over one of the diners at my table. The waitress didn’t know what to do and laughed, probably in embarrassment. She evidently needs retraining on how to deliver service properly.“

We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. The room was large and clean and we had no complaints.
