Cunucu di Nana - Cottage in the countryside

A charming Aruban cottage in the heart of Aruba, is your tropical escape. With 2 cozy bedrooms and 2 modern bathrooms, it mixes authentic island charm with all the creature comforts you'd expect. The house was originally constructed around 2015 by my Grandma (Nana) but has recently undergone an extensive renovation (November 2024 - March 2025), completely modernizing everything from the entrance to the backyard. As a result, the entire property feels brand new.

The home itself covers approximately 120 square meters (1,291.67 square feet), with an additional "backyard" of roughly 120 square meters. Although referred to as the "backyard," this term is symbolic because the house is situated on an expansive one-acre plot abundant with native cactuses and lush vegetation, making the entire plot effectively your backyard.

The house is fully air-conditioned and features a 65-inch TV in the living room, equipped with a Dolby Atmos surround system and Amazon's Fire Cube for seamless and hassle-free entertainment. Each bedroom includes a 50-inch TV. YouTube Premium is available; however, other subscription services (e.g., Netflix, Hulu) are not provided.

Positioned primarily in solitude within this acre of traditional Aruban countryside (Cunucu), the house offers remarkable privacy. There is only one neighboring property—a detached home to the left—ensuring a tranquil environment where it's just you and the serene surroundings of the cunucu.

The entire property is at your disposal.

I am based in Germany, which is either 5 or 6 hours ahead of Aruba time, depending on daylight savings. Therefore, I am usually available between 4:00 am and 5:00 pm Aruba time to answer any questions.

The property is meticulously maintained nearly every day:

Nana stops by every two or three days to water the outdoor plants (either in the morning or afternoon - depends on her schedule).

The pool is professionally serviced twice weekly (Wednesday and Saturdays in the afnoon)

No worries, no one enters the interior of the house at any time, ensuring your privacy.
Occupancy: Please respect the maximum number of guests allowed. No unregistered visitors or overnight guests without prior approval. Exceeding occupancy limits may result in a $100 fee per extra person.

Noise & Quiet Hours: Keep noise to a minimum and be mindful of neighbors. Outdoor music should stay below 60 dBA and end by 9 PM. Local quiet hours may apply.

No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Any smoking-related damage or cleaning costs will be charged to guests.

Pets: Pets are only allowed if agreed upon before booking, with applicable fees and deposits. Unauthorized pets may incur a \$100 daily fine.

No Parties or Events: Gatherings beyond registered guests, loud parties, or events require prior approval and a signed agreement. Unauthorized events may lead to immediate eviction without refund and additional penalties.

Pool & Hot Tub Safety: Use at your own risk. No diving, no glass containers, no swimming alone or while intoxicated, and children must never be left unattended. Aruba Family Villas is not responsible for accidents.

Thermostat: Please keep the AC thermostat at 20°C (68°F) or higher to avoid damage.
