    ATTRAKTIONEN DER UMGEBUNG:

    Rosemary Beach ist eine New Urbanism Community, die sich entlang der landschaftlich reizvollen Route 30A zwischen Panama City und Destin befindet. Die 107 Hektar große, am Golf gelegene Stadt wurde 1995 entworfen, um Einwohnern und Besuchern ein Gefühl von Gemeinschaft, Nachbarschaft und Komfort zu bieten. Im gesamten Rosemary Beach befinden sich häufig "grüne" Bereiche, in denen Sie lesen, spielen, picknicken und barfuß spazieren können sowie Outdoor-Events. The property had a very nice view and excellent location, but management was slow to respond to questions, the unit badly needs an upgrade, shower’s leaking into bathroom, balcony needs cleaned and upgraded. Right above a noisy and busy 7am to 10pm restaurant. We expected a unit in a better condition for the price.

This condo is in SERIOUS need of a renovation. The air conditioning did not work properly- it was VERY HOT and when I called to have it serviced, I was promised a technician would come out, but no one ever came or got back to us. Also, the WiFi was completely broken and there is no cable in the unit, so we had no TVs and could not stream our shows or news. I called about this several times and was ignored. The water pressure in the showers were very poor and the whole overall condition of the unit is in very bad shape. The cost to rent this unit is VERY overpriced for the poor quality you get! Avoid this rental

Perfect location

The location is fantastic. Parking is tight and getting luggage up to the apartment is hazardous. The property needs some TLC. Decks needs to be replaced and drywall was busted in the bathroom. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Great location!

The location could not have been more perfect: a few minutes from the beach and directly above some great restaurants. The apartment was tastefully decorated, although, as other reviewers have noted, in need of a little TLC; there are stains on the white couch and linens, and the walls and ceiling are showing their age. We couldn't find extra blankets to use on the couch, so we pulled the blanket from the single bed and used that to get warm. Our only other complaint was the noise from the street. There is some noise from the nighttime restaurant patrons, but the noises that bothered us most were the morning sounds, including delivery trucks around 5AM and someone pressure washing just outside the apartment at 7AM.

Come prepared.I typically read all the reviews before booking and learned my lesson by skipping that step this time. They are not lying when they said it needs updating. It has the potential to be something special it just lacks some TLC and basic maintenance. Contrary to other reviews the host company was quick to answer texts and phone calls and gave me good information when I needed it.This was our first trip to Rosemary Beach and as avid VRBO guests we learned some interesting things about renting in this area. According to the host they only provide a starter kit for each unit. This being one roll of toilet paper per bath, one roll of paper towel and hotel size personal care items in each bath. Bring your own otherwise you will have to make other trips to the store. Also, there is closet space just no hangers anywhere.Location was nice for proximity to the beach however the entry to the building opens directly onto the main street and our door was constantly blocked by Cowgirl kitchen patrons and we even found a few inside the entry one morning.The balconies are only really useable if you don't mind being watched by everyone in other restaurants or from the street. Pack light and be prepared to climb many steps. There is no other way to get to the unit and with a lot of luggage it is a workout.All in all, it was an interesting experience, We would travel to this area again but stay off the main street.

Location is fantastic! However, many maintenance items need attention. Also climbing over employees of Cowgirl Kitchen to get to the unit was a challenge daily as they hangout in the stairwell. Early morning noise from garbage trucks, food delivery trucks etc. The owners should focus on repairs as the price to rent is very high.

Great location, needs some attention

Stayed here with our college age children. Great location, loved convenience and people watching. Condo needs some basic maintenance and upkeep. Stairwell and entrance door were filthy. Fifteen minutes with a general cleaner would make the door able to be touched. Shutters were hanging off hardware and patio was not safe for bare feet. Slipcovers and rugs need to be cleaned or replaced. Just general maintenance or annual spiff up. Condo was well stocked and had everything we needed.

We had a great time on our trip. However we noticed that the unit was dated in several areas. The hot and cold water knobs do not work well in any of the indoor showers. The walls are covered in scuffs and the floors of the showers look grimey. The outdoor shower does not even have access to the outdoors and only has cold water. The management group was great to work with and very helpful.

The location is great but the actual condo leaves a lot to be desired. This was our 5th stay in Rosemary and this condo was our first and only negative experience. We knew going in that staying above Main street would have its pros and cons but the location and being able to have our dogs with us are the only pros. The power was out when we arrived (not their fault but there was no communication). Loved sitting on the porch above the restaurants but the porches need major repairs and the smells from the grease and garbage below were off putting. On the Main Street porch there were exposed nails, and a splinter before we realized not to go out without shoes. Furniture is breaking down. It’s clear nothing has been done to maintain the outside amenities. We let management know the below issues so we wouldn’t be charged. They acknowledged them but obviously it’s an upkeep situation, nothing that could be done during our stay. Reported upon arrival: “Also just so you know the upstairs shower door handle broke off then we opened it the first time, there are several stains on the couch, the upstairs bathroom outlet doesn't work, and there was trash on front and back porches when we got there. The door handle is upside down on the downstairs bathroom.Thank you”. Besides that, the interior stairs leading to the condo were dirty with debris from previous renters and with the sand, they ended up being very slippery. Overall Experience

The stairs into the unit are filthy. Workers sit in the stairs and eat so you have to pass them as you go to your unit. They leave food all the over and since it is a Mexican restaurant it is beans left lying around. Which looks like rat poop. The smell in the unit is pretty strong, as you have the fried chip smell from the restaurant cooking below you. You do not get a break of the smell as they also are open in the morning. The alley way is loud which you will hear people talking from inside the unit. The unit itself needs repairs, has mildew on walls, ac vents, and the porch is rotted. We would not stay in this unit again. It is also very loud at night b/c you are on the main road with all the restaurants.

As bad as reviews state

We were hoping the negative reviews had been heard and efforts made to fix the issues but no, all were still true. The cleanliness was the worst part. Hole in sofa cushion - we spent considerable time and money on cleaning supplies to help and even washed the couch which feels like it should not be on a renter to do. The only positive is the proximity to the beach but it comes at a cost. Trash and food deliveries start up about 4:30am. There is a constant grease smell from cowgirl kitchen and don’t get me started on the hallway. The grime we had to walk over was disgusting. Would not stay again. Felt like a frat house situation.

Solid Accommodations

This is a great location. All the things that may be perceived as negatives are clearly stated in the descriptions. Its loud. That’s because it’s above a popular restaurant. It’s up three flights and no elevator. There is only one designated parking space, and it’s a cramped spot behind the restaurant with frequent trucks unloading next to it. That all was fine. The place was clean, at least all the hard surfaces and bedding. We had an issue with the beds being too soft. Not sure if that is by design or the 2 king mattresses have sagged. My daughters were fine with it, but my husband’s back couldn’t take it. The little day bed nook is essentially in the kitchen. The couple questions I had were answered immediately by 30A, which was great. In a nutshell, this is a no frills little condo in the heart of the action. If not for my husband’s back, I would stay there again.
