I have been coming to this building for over 30 years, and while we expected the condo to be outdated based on the listing photos, our experience was far worse than anticipated and extremely frustrating.Upon arrival, the condo door was unlocked. Nearly half of the electrical outlets were not functional and required maintenance before they worked properly. Because of the lack of working outlets, we had to move a lamp from the bedroom into the living area just to be able to see adequately. In addition, a piece of metal trim on one of the bathtubs was hanging loose and required repair, and one of the main living room curtains was found lying on the floor. We were told that everything in the unit was working and that none of these issues had been reported by the cleaning crew prior to their departure. If that is true, it is very concerning that this many issues could have occurred in the short window between cleaning and our check‑in just a few hours later. Despite reporting the electrical problems immediately at check‑in, they were not fully resolved until the third day of our stay. It is unacceptable to pay premium Easter and spring break rates and not have reliable electricity throughout much of the unit for most of the trip.Cleanliness was also a major concern. We found blood stains on extra pillows stored in the closet. Although we were promised two replacement pillows, they were never delivered.
