Firstly, all the staff were excellent everywhere we went. Really appreciated the friendliness of everyone.
My disappointment lies with the following:
- the carpeting throughout the hotel, including rooms, the spa and hallways is in poor condition and doesn't look clean. It was highly unappealing.
- my room (1206) in particular had the following issues - the furniture was damaged from water, causing bubbling. It looked old and tired. the couch had a large stain on the cushion. the door to the bathroom was in poor shape, with damage and bubbling of the wood at the base. the shower head was gross with scaling build up, the toilet moved every time I sat down (and I'm a light person) and I did not feel that the bathtub and one of the sinks were cleaned properly.
- additionally, the couch in my friends' room (1203) was so uncomfortable to sit on because you could feel the bars from the bed through it.
these things made me feel that I was not getting good value for money considering the cost of the hotel.
