Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

  • Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and a queen air mattress for additional sleeping space. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

    Our home is situated on the back of our 8 acre property overlooking our pond. It is new construction featuring modern farmhouse decor for a comfortable, cozy feel.

    Guests have access to the property around the house and pond. We will respect their space and privacy. We ask they do the same for us.

Super cute cottage and decorated very tastefully. Well stocked with soft towels, washcloths and bed linens and had ample space in bedrooms and bathrooms to unpack and spread out. House was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend get-away. The boys loved fishing in the pond and had a successful catch and release day!Definitely would stay here again if we're ever in the area.

We travel to Palestine frequently for work and this was by far the best stay I’ve had. The property is beautiful and fishing after work was exactly what we needed. Host was super quick to solve a minor problem. Definitely going to be our go to from now on!

Hidden Gem lives up to its name. We pulled into the lot for our stay, and it was - quiet. The Sapphire cabin was perfect for us. We needed a couple of days to relax, and we did! Beautifully done with attention to details. The pond was relaxing and we enjoyed the dock, at night when it cooled off enough to be outside. A great find and we would totally stay again if we’re in the area!

Had an awesome weekend stay with my family here in the cottage so we could go on the train ride. The day prior to check in I verified our stay with the owner and she was a delight on the phone. They have it set up to be very accommodating for guests and it’s also a very clean property. The pond was awesome fishing, the boat was fun, and fire pit was excellent for having s’mores. We were sad to leave because it was the perfect set up for a little family get away!

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with a homey feel. It was nice to sit on the porch and hear the sounds of nature without any man-made sounds interfering. There is a 12 cup coffee maker with coffee and sugar provided, but not a Kurig.

The home was clean and VERY spacious. It was tucked away from the road with beautiful trees and a pond. There were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well stocked, and the washer and dryer were great to have. If I make another trip to the Palestine area, I would 100% book again.

Perfect Hideaway

A perfect place for a one night stay or a week. Very nicely decorated and super clean. Lots of things to do and see within a fairly short distance. Plenty of room for kids to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities.

Very very clean cabin with cute surrounding grounds. No funky smells and all of the linens felt crisp and new. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

The houses were perfect for our family weekend for the Polar Express. They were only 25 minutes to Palestine. Management was very helpful & had the houses ready for early check-in . The houses were very clean and cutely decorated. The kids loved fishing & feeding the fish in the pond. Would definitely recommend staying there.
