„The apartment was in a lovely location—nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a short walk to everything. Overall, the place was okay, but it could really use a deep clean from top to bottom. There was a faint smell of mold and cigarette smoke, and unfortunately, the strong smoke odor from the stairwell also made its way into the apartment. Die Wohnung ist "jwd" - janz weit draussen - im sizilianischen Hinterland, man fährt viele Serpentinen hinauf nach Cassaro und dann noch aus dem Ort heraus, bevor man da ist. Dort herrscht totale Ruhe, nur den Hund und den Hahn hört man mal. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Nur wenn schlechtes Wetter ist, wünscht man sich mal draußen mehr Platz. „Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Catania. Die Kommunikation war schon im Vorfeld sehr angenehm. Dadurch konnten wir uns schon von Anfang an freuen auf einen unkomplizierten Urlaub. Auch der geplante Ausflug auf den Ätna hat ganz nach unseren Vorstellungen geklappt und war sehr spannend und informativ. „We loved our stay in Catania and in this apartment. It was exactly as advertised, the host was very nice with loads of great recommendations and the market on our doorstep was nothing short of amazing. It felt authentic in a realistic way.“

The house was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The air conditioner was much appreciated because Sicily was 10 above normal the week we were there. „The Mori House is nicely remodeled, and very clean! It is a five minute walk to Catania Picanello train station, and three minute walk to a small grocery store and Tris Bar, which offers all snacks/meals. It is a forty minute walk into the historic center of Catania. The neighborhood is old and a bit run down, but safe. The property manager is excellent, providing quick and helpful responses to all communications. “

"Sehr in die Jahre gekommen - die Bilder des Hotels entsprechen nicht mehr dem Ist-Zustand. Hatten zwei Deluxe-Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht - bekamen ein Basic mit Ausblick auf den Supermarkt. Ein Basic-Zimmer kann man auf der Seite garnicht buchen - für einen Mehrpreis von 20€ Nacht/Zimmer wurde nachgebessert - Hotels.com sehr kulant. Pool nur bis 18:30 Uhr geöffnet - dieser Bereich wird dann jeden Abend für eine Veranstaltung genutzt. Das Frühstück ist keine 3,50€ wert - wir kauften uns Brot und Wurst im Supermarkt. "

"Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet – es war alles da, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt: Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Zentrum sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders positiv ist das freundliche und hilfsbereite Management vor Ort aufgefallen. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt!"
