Lucky me - it was only 1 night
The best part of my stay was honestly the moment I could leave the next day. I was just relieved to finally be done with this hotel.
I had specifically requested in advance not to get a room near the elevator. And where did they put me? Right next to the elevator! When I noticed, I asked if it was possible to change rooms – supposedly, there were no other rooms available. I checked in very early, and three hours later there was a long line of people waiting to check in. From my point of view, they simply didn’t want to give me another room.
The sound insulation is terrible, and the air conditioners are extremely loud. Even though mine was turned off, I could hear the neighbor’s air conditioning running all night long.
The mattress was awful. I woke up the next morning with severe neck pain, something that normally never happens to me.
Shampoo is only available at the front desk and comes in tiny plastic sachets. Trying to open those while standing in the shower with wet hands is basically impossible.
This hotel stay completely ruined my mood after what had been a really nice day. And of course, the next day started off just as badly because of it.
Conclusion: There are plenty of new hotels in town. Even if they’re a bit more expensive, do yourself a favor and spend a few extra euros for a better experience. Your vacation will thank you for it.
