„The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.“

„The property is great and so cute! The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. It is a hike to get up there and the road is small, so make sure you are in a car good for that. We loved it and plan to stay there again.“

„This property is AMAZING!!! It is private but yet within a short drive to restaurants, shops, and beautiful outdoor waterfalls/rivers. It is very well furnished, well decorated, and the landscaping is beautiful. Such a peaceful and wonderful get away!!!! The owner was so gracious and helpful with booking/check in and any questions. „This unit was our base for a couple of days of hiking in the area. Very relaxing after miles on trails and had what we required but I would say the kitchen could use a bit more supplies (especially if your stay is more than 2 days) I would stay here again.“

„We loved the wide open view of the sky over the mountain. We watched the sun set while we sat in the hot tub. This little house is just 3 miles from the Hemlock Falls trail, which is gorgeous and ends at a swimming hole. The house is clean, comfy, and a great getaway from the city. “
