„Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! “

„Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. Waschmaschinen sind vorhanden und sehr gut ausgelastet. Gym ist durchschnittlich und Geräte sind sehr übersicherlich vorhanden."

"My stay in Kyoto was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. I really enjoyed the slower pace and more relaxed atmosphere compared to Tokyo. Even small details, like taking off your shoes before entering certain areas of the hotel, helped create a feeling of calm and made it easier to leave the rush of everyday life behind. After walking all day through Kyoto, the onsen and massage chairs were the perfect way to unwind and recharge for the next day. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options every morning. I enjoyed it so much that I honestly wish I could have stayed in Kyoto a little longer. Thank you for making my stay such a pleasant and memorable experience."

"Very professional and friendly staff. No issue with English. Wide choice of restaurants, coffee shops and amenities (simple bike rent). Good breakfast and room larger then average japan hotel room. Nice but not outstanding Onsen. Luggage service for biwako lake bycle trip possible. Bus service to train station. Unfortunately the fan in the bathroom can not be shutdown (central controlled shutdown between 1pm to 6 pm only and make a lot of noise, first hotel in Japab where the guest can not control it and the reason why I would not stay again even that I like the rest of the hotel."

"Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und komfortabel mit einem tollen Blick auf den See. Das Highlight unseres Zimmers war natürlich die private heiße Quelle auf dem Balkon. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war eher japanisch ausgerichtet und sehr lecker. Das Wifi Signal in unserem Zimmer war leider sehr schwach, womit kein bis kaum Internet darüber zur Verfügung stand. Durch die Sonneneinstrahlung hat sich das Zimmer leider teilweise stark aufgeheizt und die Leistung der Klimaanlage konnte das nicht abfangen. Der Lawson im Erdgeschoß ist sehr zu empfehlen und hat eine tolle Auswahl an Waren."
