„The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals. “

„We spent 3 nights in the cabin. It is located on a farm on the John Day River. The cabin is roomy, with comfortable furniture to include a very comfortable bed - my key need for any place to stay. Everything you need is included. The owners are really nice and were great to talk to. They have 3 wonderful dogs. It was the best VRBO place that we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it.“

„Beautiful remote location at the foot of the mountains. Cabin is a recent construction with all the modern creature comforts. Highly recommend for anyone seeking peaceful solitude.“

„This is a quaint cabin that is walking distance to the lake and other activities. It was so easy to talk to the folks if I had a question while there. Fully furnished, kitchen was great, beds were SO comfortable. Sitting room has movies and a small TV. The floors "creaked" but personally it brought back memories. I'd recommend this to anyone, with or without kids. “

„We liked the river, deck, beds, fabulous downstairs bedroom, price, location to activities. The table is great for the amount of people and for playing family games. What we didn't like toilet paper, pillows up stairs, no extra blankets, sheets or towels. We have already recommended to other family members and plan to stay again. It is a great relaxing place to stay. “

„We will stay here again. It is rustic on the outside, inside is just so welcoming with room for all. A big enough table to sit together for meals and game night. Plenty of amenities, seasonings oils, pots, pans, bowls. Sweetly decorated. The beds are soooo comfortable. We didnt have a problem but someone with mobility issues may have difficulty getting in and out of the home. Cant wait to go back.“
