Waking up to listen to all the new birds (for me) and watch the cottontails hopping about. The cabin was clean and had thoughtful amenities for guests. The washer and dryer was much appreciated after 8 days on the road. And there was ice in the freezer!! Hard to believe that almost no vacation rentals ...

„My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful but too short vacation to Brownlee Reservoir and the Wallowa Mountains in May. This wonderful old farmhouse was our base. With Bullock Orioles nesting in the back yard trees and a covey of Quail in the driveway, and the Powder River backing up to the hayfields of the ranch. A simple, clean, and well maintained accommodation, it was perfect for us and our dog. Literally 1/2 mile from two boat ramps and a mile from a good country grocery/hardware/liquor/fishing ...
