„We like Seckford Hall for it's traditional ambience and previously had stayed here in 1977 for the Aldeburgh Festival - we found the programme for the year we had attended at the Red House in Aldeburgh. Our visit this time was to see the site of the historical dig at Sutton Hoo. The hotel is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. There have been a few changes in 50 years and the hotel is well used as a wedding venue. Occasionally there was disco music until midnight but it did not ...

„We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit.“

„Standards have fallen at the Westleton Crown. Outside, several car park bays were inexplicably cordoned off so there was a shortage of available spaces. Inside there was a bucket catching a leak from a skylight in the main dining room. The corridor, staircase and bedroom carpets are dirty and worn. The seat in our WC fell off. Overall, the decor is old, tired and in urgent need of an uplift. We will certainly think carefully before booking the Crown again anytime soon, and we will certainly not ...

„The whole accommodation is excellent plenty of parking, good size rooms, a wonderful buffet breakfast and only 5 minutes walk to an excellent pub/restaurant.“

„Grove House Hotel ist ein kleines typical Britisches Hotel. Vom Aussehen mehr ein B&B. Da aber auch Speisen Abends erhaeltlich sind und eine kleine Bar existiert ist es wohl ein Hotel. Das Nachtleben im Hotel fand in den Tagen meines Aufenthaltes nicht statt. Die Stadt Woodbrige, ein Staedchen mit ca. 8000 Einwohnern ist fusslaeufig in 25 Min zu erreichen. Die Auswahl and Pubs und Restaurants ist sehr reichhaltig. Ansonsten ist das Hotel genau was ich erwarte. Gebraucht aber gut in Schuss. Das ...

„We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.“
