Great Condo!

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! Was able to check in 1 hour early since my parents flight was early and spoke with SoLux and worked it out with no issue. Had enough room in the common areas for our family of 8 adults, 2 kids (3yo and 4yo), and 1 baby. The unit was very clean and had appropriate supplies to clean if wanted. Would suggest more/better cookware in the kitchen. If it is going to say, sleeps 16, should have better cookware (ex. bigger/more cookie sheets). Would also suggest labeling cabinets; with so many people in & out of the kitchen, getting stuff put back where everyone could find it would be helpful. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillow options. The bunk room was fun for my son, but there was minimal space in the 3 non-main rooms to put our stuff (no dressers). If the bunk room is to sleep 6 technically, there would be no room to put anyone's suitcase with one small closet. Would have been perfect for our family if there was one less bed in that room with room for a pack-n-play in there. (I know these are specific to our family/stay; could very easily work well for somebody else there). We loved the lazy river, water slide, and ease of obtaining/using the beach chair service; very kind. Did not have to use the front office much, but had a good experience at check in. Overall, it was great for everyone to have their own space, but able to come together in the common area as well! Would recommend to others.

Beautiful property!

Everything was as expected! Beautiful views of the ocean, clean and updated. The kids loved the bunk room and their own bathroom space. The indoor pool was heated nicely and clean. We did not use the outdoor pool as it was too chilly. Access to the beach is easy as well as the parking garage. Would love to return again!

Beautiful view and beautiful beach

This was a lovely unit on a property with a great location and a wonderful view. The unit was very clean except for one area under a guest bed that had been missed and had old food on plates under it that we discovered when we cleaned at the end of our stay- but I blame no one for that but the previous renters that put it there! Otherwise everything was perfect. The view is unparalleled. This is a great place to stay with a large family group.

Great Location and Views

This is a great property with stunning views, However this is not new construction as the listing states. This building was completed in March 2021, so while it is newer it is not NEW construction.On the beach, that matters. The unit itself is set up fairly well. There is plenty of room in the living room to enjoy the views, watch TV and socialize. The main bedroom only has one tiny closet for use and they use it for storage of the vacuum, fans, and a spare dining chair! We had no room to hang clothes so we moved the chair back out to the dining area. The other bedrooms have HUGE closets, but no dressers and no stands for luggage. We used the ironing board set up in the closet for our luggage. The bedrooms have no spare space - the bed and a walkway around them. The kitchen needs new pans and serving bowls. There is a huge supply of dishes, glassware, silverware and knives, but no serving bowls and the pans are well beyond their useful life. I own my own condos in Orange Beach (2 bedrooms, we needed a 4 bedroom for this trip) and I well understand the shortage of good cleaning services. I am very particular with my own, but again this is the beach and nowhere will be exactly to my standards.This unit is no exception. While it is adequate, they don't check under beds and we found a dirty diaper (to clarify a rolled up, probably only wet when it was changed) under one of the beds. For all intents and purposes, this is a fantastic unit for enjoying the beach. I have already relayed my review to property management and they acknowledged they will check out my concerns. I am confident they will! Enjoy your beach stay. OBA is a wonderful family destination. We have been enjoying it since 1985.
