„A simple gem of a cottage: this was a nice quiet retreat on a small lake teaming with wildlife. For old friends and elders, accommodations were perfect. Clean, accessible, responsive owner next door. We also liked the proximity to 2 great communities with restaurants, shops, and scenic parks. Just 5-15 min drives to Onalaska and Lacrosse, respectively.“

„We enjoyed the French Island vibe. We ate at River Rats and Tom Sawyers, great food and people. Enjoyed the dock and fishing. Wish beach was little cleaner but it is spring. Ceiling fans all worked and slept great. Liked the king size bed. Couldn’t find a sheet they said was left with WiFi info. They did get that to us. Was a perfect Mother’s Day weekend in the La crosse area.“

„The place was perfect for exactly what we needed. We came in town for our son’s graduation a few days early so we could relax before meeting up with a larger group. My son was able to study in peace and enjoy fishing off the pier. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. „It was fine. Door code given was not correct so we had to call the property manager (big company, not just a homeowner). That got taken care of quick. House is fine, a little janky. „The cabin was very well stocked. When we do VRBOs we have a plastic tub that we take with us with things that are often not supplied. I don't think we even open the tub while at River Den.
