Welcome to Ojai Mountain Ridge, a high-elevation retreat set at 3,000 feet on a private 40-acre ridge with views of vineyards, Lake Casitas, and the Pacific. Designed for shared stays and celebrations, it’s ideal for family and friend gatherings. A large kitchen, dining for 12, and multiple outdoor zones invite time together, while strong Wi-Fi and work-friendly spaces suit mid-week work-from-anywhere stays. Four bedrooms sleep up to 10, with access to private wine tastings, scenic trails, and expansive views.
Thirty minutes from downtown Ojai, 90 minutes from Los Angeles, and 45 minutes from Santa Barbara, this is the quieter side of the valley. The landscape is wilder, the pace slower, and the setting genuinely restorative. Many guests spend the entire weekend on the mountain without ever needing to leave.
Mornings begin with coffee on the terrace while the light moves across the ridgeline. Hiking trails start at the front gate. A short bike ride brings you to English-style horseback riding lessons. Just down the road, our estate vineyard offers private, guided tours and curated tastings of current and library releases.

The Villa
Designed in a Mediterranean style with modern American touches, the estate includes four spacious bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to ten guests. Bed configuration is two king beds, one queen bed, two twin beds, and a queen sofa bed. The layout works equally well for couples traveling together, families, or small retreats centered on food, wine, or wellness.

This spacious two-story home is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with generous common areas and multiple patios for gathering, lounging, and dining. Three fireplaces add warmth and comfort throughout the home, located in the living room, dining room, and the primary bedroom.
First floor
The main level features two large gathering spaces: a living room and a combined family and dining room, both opening directly to the outdoors. Each of these spaces includes a fireplace, making them equally inviting on cool evenings. The family room includes a queen-size sofa bed and connects to a patio with a 12-person outdoor dining table and gas grill, well suited for shared meals and relaxed nights.
A welcoming entry lobby leads to the kitchen and adjacent breakfast nook. Two bedrooms are located on this level. One is a primary suite with a king bed, walk-in closet, en-suite bath, and its own fireplace. The second bedroom has a queen bed and access to a full bathroom nearby. A laundry room and garage complete the lower level.
Second floor
Upstairs are two additional bedrooms. One front-facing room is furnished with a king bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. This level includes two bathrooms: one with a shower and double sinks, and a second with a toilet and sink.
Outdoor space and arrival
Four separate patios extend the living areas in different directions: one off the living room, one off the family room, one outside the master bedroom, and one adjacent to the outdoor kitchen and grill area. Each patio offers a different way to enjoy the mountain air and panoramic views, whether for quiet mornings, shared meals, or evenings outside.
There is also an outdoor hot tub positioned for soaking under the open sky, especially enjoyable after sunset when the air cools and the stars come out.
For guests arriving by air, the property includes a helipad, allowing for direct helicopter access. This option is used occasionally by guests who value privacy and efficiency, and it adds to the sense that the estate is self-contained and removed from crowds.
An EV charger is available on site for electric vehicles.
