„Last minute trip to get away for some weekend fun. Weather was cold and rainy, and I spent an evening in the hospital after getting knocked out whitewater rafting. Not my idea of fun. However, the cabin, ambience, hospitality, and friendly community made this one of my favorites of all time. My bird dogs also had the time of their lives!!!“

„We enjoyed every part of this trip. The property owner/manager took the time to meet us and show us around with specific directions which helped us find the location with ease. The property is so conveniently located near Ohio Pyle right off 40, but is quiet and secluded with a beautiful view of Beaver Creek from the large deck. The property came well equipped with everything we needed, with well thought out extras and convenience. “

„This was a great cabin property that is walking distance from a winery - but was for me even greater for allowing quick access to Ohiopyle (hiking) and Morgantown (WVU graduation weekend at a very affordable rate). The cabin was clean and well-maintained, the decks were very nice for enjoying the peaceful creek below. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home felt very safe - I’d definitely stay again in the future. “

„Nice stay. Resort was nice. Only problem was a 5 hour power outage. We left at 7am when it happened. Got back at 12pm. Power came back on a few minutes later but we already packed to leave. Cleaned up. Ran the dishwasher and left a day early. No accommodations were made for the outage. I understand things happen, but i wasted 350 dollars for an extra day i didn’t use. “

„I would definitely recommend the Oakland treehouse to anyone who wants a quiet, secluded and romantic getaway for them and their significant other. It was so peaceful and private and there is stream with water flowing right by the porch so when we sat outside we heard the peaceful sounds of water and the hot tub was very relaxing and private. „The cabin was easy to find based on the directions given and photos of the cabin. It was very clean inside and pretty spacious in the main bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The firepit was very nice and so was the hot tub. Overall perfect for what we needed. The price for one night was a little steep for a cabin in a remote area in my opinion even though everything was great, that is the only reason for four stars instead of five! “

„This cabin was just as advertised, and perfect for our family. We were looking for some winter isolation, and found it at the Outpost. The fireplace was great, the arrangement was perfect for family games in front of the fire or at the table, the kitchen had what we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had, and we enjoyed saying hello to their two very friendly dogs who stopped by. We would stay there again, summer or winter.“
